THE EASY CHOICE FOR TOUGH WASTEWATER PUMPING

Flygt&＃39;s self-cleaning non-clog N-pumps feature innovative designs and functions that deliver high sustained efficiency and the most reliable operation. This makes them the most reliable choice available for a broad range of wastewater applications for tough applications such as unscreened sewage, wastewater and sludge up to an 8 percent solids concentration. Flygt N-pumps can handle capacities up to 1,000 l/s (16.000 gpm) with motors from 1.3 to 680 kW (1.5 to 870 hp) and pumping heads of up to 100 m (330 ft).

Choose a hardened cast iron impeller for typical wastewater applications or the chopper version for your toughest applications with long fibers and heavy solids. Hard-Iron? impellers are highly recommended for all applications with sand, grit and other abrasives as well as wastewater mixed with sea water. For special applications such as highly corrosive wastewater environments we offer impellers in duplex stainless steel.

Most solid objects entering the pump will pass through the impeller between the impeller vanes. If an object gets caught on the leading edge of one of the vanes, it will slide along the backswept shape towards the perimeter of the inlet.

Due to the mechanical self-cleaning design, a sludge concentration up to 8% can easily be pumped.

The double mechanical seal system consists of two sets of mechanical shaft seals that work independently to provide double security. Available in Tungsten carbide (WCCR) or Silicone carbide (SiC) depending on pumped media.
